I’m a singer, songwriter, guitarist, recording artist, performer and producer living and working on the island of Kauai in Hawaii. It’s been over 50 years since I released my first album, and I released my 7th studio album, The Journey in 2021.

‘Nature of the Game’ is the 8th single from my upcoming 8th album. A throwback to the soul music of the 60’s. Heartfelt old school soul/R&B delivered in a modern groove. Looking back when songs were simple, unabashed, romantic, with heart-on-your-sleeve messages that were drenched in silky soulful grooves. The protagonist tries to persuade his lover to join him in the bliss that will surely follow if she takes their relationship one step further. Think Al Green meets Boz Skaggs. Featuring the great Steely Dan/Toto drummer Keith Carlock, James Taylor bassist Jimmy Johnson, Michael Ruff on Keyboards, my co-writer and guitarist Chris Gibbons and Kipp and Marky Lennon on backing vocals.
